Modern Slavery Statement

Effective Date: 01 July 2025

Last Reviewed: 01 July 2024

This statement is made on behalf of Specialist Valve Services Ltd (“SVS”, “we”, “our”, “us”) in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It outlines the steps we are taking to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

Our Commitment

SV Services is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We aim to ensure that slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking do not occur in any part of our operations or our supply chains.

About SVS

Specialist Valve Services Ltd operates in the  emerging and traditional energy sectors, supplying and servicing valves for the LNG and Hydrogen markets, and actively contributing to the development of Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) projects, delivering professional services to clients across the world.

We recognise that some sectors and supply chains carry a higher risk of modern slavery, and we are committed to identifying and mitigating these risks within our business and supply partners.

  • Session management
  • Security authentication

Policies and Practices

To support our commitment, we have implemented the following policies and procedures:

  • Supplier Code of Conduct – Requires all suppliers and contractors to comply with laws on labour rights and modern slavery.
  • Whistleblowing Policy – Encourages employees and third parties to report concerns about unethical or unlawful behaviour, including slavery and trafficking.
  • Employment Practices – Ensures all SVS employees are hired legally and voluntarily with fair pay, and that robust right-to-work checks are performed.
  • Training and Awareness – We raise awareness among employees about modern slavery risks and reporting mechanisms.

Supply Chain Due Diligence

Our suppliers are required to confirm their own compliance with anti-slavery legislation. We assess suppliers based on:

  • Geographic risk factors
  • Sector and service type
  • Employment practices

Where higher risk is identified, we may request further information or audits. We work closely with trusted suppliers and contractors who share our values.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

We continually assess and monitor risk areas in our business and supply chain, with a focus on:

  • Outsourced labour and recruitment agencies
  • Suppliers in high-risk countries or sectors
  • Subcontracted services

Mitigation measures include requiring contracts to contain modern slavery clauses and ongoing engagement with suppliers on responsible practices.

Effectiveness and KPI’s

To measure the effectiveness of our efforts, we monitor:

  • Number of employee training sessions delivered
  • Completion of supplier audits or assessments
  • Reports or concerns raised and resolved

We are committed to improving our processes and reviewing our policies annually.

Responsibility and Oversight

Responsibility for implementing this policy rests with SVS senior management. We ensure that sufficient resources and leadership oversight are dedicated to meeting our obligations under the Modern Slavery Act.
