Corporate Charity Support
we believe in giving back
At Specialist Valve Services, we believe in giving back. For another consecutive year, we’ve chosen to offer corporate charity support instead of sending Christmas cards.
This year, our selected charities are Dravet Syndrome UK and Mental Health Aberdeen – Counselling and Advice Services (MHA).

Why Charity Support Matters More Than Ever
Undoubtedly, 2020 was a difficult year for individuals and businesses alike. Charities, in particular, faced immense challenges due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Traditional fundraising events were cancelled, and donations became harder to secure. Because of this, we felt it was even more important to offer meaningful support where it is most needed.
MHA provides counselling and information services to adults and young people who are dealing with mental health issues. Despite growing public awareness, mental health remains a topic many still find difficult to discuss openly. Unfortunately, stigma continues to discourage people from asking for help.
Mental health issues can impact every aspect of life. They affect relationships, employment, and overall wellbeing. In many cases, those suffering may feel isolated and powerless. This is why organisations like MHA are vital. They offer professional guidance, emotional support, and help people rebuild their lives with dignity.
The pandemic has only intensified mental health struggles. Increased isolation, stress, and uncertainty have led to a sharp rise in mental health concerns across the UK. As a result, the demand for services has grown, even as funding has decreased. In response, MHA continues to offer support while also promoting public education around mental health challenges.

Making an Impact Through Corporate Charity Support
By supporting MHA and Dravet Syndrome UK, SVS aims to make a meaningful contribution during the holiday season.
Rather than sending cards, we are helping these organisations continue their life-changing work. Furthermore, we hope our actions will inspire others in the business community to consider similar acts of giving.
Looking to support a good cause this season? Join SVS in making a difference through corporate charity support. Every act of kindness counts.
