TWIN DBB (Double Block & Bleed) valve
SVS is delighted to announce the launch of a new valve design — the TWIN DBB (Double Block & Bleed) valve, which has been developed to minimise leak paths while maintaining a compact footprint.
The TWIN DBB valve has been created in collaboration with INDRA, reflecting SVS’s ongoing commitment to innovation and product development. Our highly experienced engineering department continues to drive the advancement of new solutions, ensuring that each product meets the highest industry standards.
The process
Our design for a customer for the Annulus air gap from the wellhead:
- The valve was attached to the tree via the flanged connection which within inlaid has 2 ports
- The valves internally were used for 2 functions
- The first was set to monitor and send a signal to the pressure transmitter
- The second being for drain purposes, which allowed an instrument connection for a further DBB to be attached
