At Specialist Valve Services (SVS), we are proud to announce a significant milestone in our journey to deliver industry-leading support for valves and actuators.
In 2022, we officially opened the doors to our brand-new SVS Service Centre, a purpose-built facility created to enhance our service offering and further align with the evolving needs of our clients.
Designed to complement our existing headquarters, this expansion marks a bold step forward. It allows us to provide quicker turnaround times, increased storage capacity, and an even higher standard of quality in all our operations.

The SVS Service Centre was carefully engineered to maximise efficiency, functionality, and reliability. It enables us to manage even the most demanding valve and actuator projects from start to finish—right here, in-house. As a result, we’ve strengthened our ability to offer fully integrated support for valves and actuators lifecycle management, from inspection and testing to repairs, upgrades, and storage. Key facility highlights include:
- 14,500 sq/ft (1,345 m²) Workshop – Fully equipped for comprehensive valve and actuator services.
- 4,500 sq/ft (415 m²) Secure External Yard – Ideal for controlled logistics and asset handling.
- 9,200 sq/ft (855 m²) Dedicated Warehouse – Ensures efficient inventory management and quick access to client assets.

Advanced Technical Capabilities
What sets our Service Centre apart is its advanced technical capability. We’ve invested in top-tier equipment and infrastructure to guarantee reliable results and full client satisfaction. Key features include:
- 20-tonne and 10-tonne overhead cranes with 6.8m clearance under the crane hook.
- Five test cells suitable for hydrostatic testing up to 30,000 psi.
- Two gas test tanks, allowing for submerged gas testing.
- Dedicated PSV test cell with a clamp table and specialised testing station.
- In-house machine shop equipped with a horizontal borer, CNC lathe, CNC milling centre, radial arm drill, surface lapping machine, and all necessary tooling and inspection equipment.
These capabilities ensure that we can offer precision maintenance, refurbishment, and performance validation on even the most complex valve and actuator systems.
