Our in-house machine shop allows us to carry out a wide range of general machining operations, giving us the flexibility to respond quickly and operate self-sufficiently.

For more complex machining or specialist weld repairs, we work closely with our trusted and approved supply chain partners to ensure seamless, high-standard delivery.

SVS offers a wide range of valve testing, repair and overhaul, performed in-house at our Aberdeen-based Service Centre:

A Hydrostatic body and seat testing up to 22,500 psi
Submerged gas testing with leak detection monitoring up to 20,000 psi
Low-pressure gas testing on all valve and actuator types
Safety valve pressure lift and recertification testing
Full FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) / SIT (Site Integration Testing) scopes
Valve breakout testing
Fugitive emissions production testing
Electrical continuity and resistance testing
Control valve positioner setting and checking

on-site and offshore servicing and testing

Mobile PSV Testing Services (Onshore & Offshore)

SVS also provides on-site and offshore pressure safety valve (PSV) servicing and testing, using our purpose-built PSV container. This mobile unit can be deployed with our experienced technicians, allowing for recertification and testing to be completed at your facility, eliminating the need to transport equipment back to SVS.

Secure Valve Storage and Spare Parts Management

To support large-scale valve management and spare parts storage, our Headquarters and Service Centre is fitted with Multi-level pallet racking systems and a vertical carousel Kardex system for high-density, space-efficient storage.

This setup provides a total internal storage capacity of around 550 pallets, with planning approved for future expansion to accommodate up to 1,200 pallets.
